Growing Seeds?

Question

what kind of fruit/veg has its own seeds that I can plant and grow from...watermelon? oranges? green peppers? and if so do i just dry them first? I know a pineapple i just plant the top of it and it will grow..same for a carrot.

green beans,cantaloupe,squash,tomatoes, potatoes(root) just burry in ground and okra are some examples.
