Growing conditions for Spirulina platensis?

Im attempting to grow some spirulina for a project of mine but I am having difficulty finding sources for the optimal growing conditions (temperature, ph, salinity, etc). Does anyone know of any web sites that could give me the run-down on this?

There are lots of websites out there that are full of conflicting information -- you're better off finding a micro-biology book that focuses on water specieies.
