  1. We bought it with another family and it was totally worth it. I get compliments daily on the kindness, maturity and overall behavior of my children.

It helps you get on the same page as your spouse and so you will have less what-to-do-with-the-children fights.

My kids are now teens, no regrets here.

    Best of Luck to You!

  2. is "growing kids god way" a book or something or r u talking about in general?

  3. Almost every reviewer at Amazon hated it, using the words "sickening," "disgusting," and "child abuse."  Based on the reviews, I would say it's not worth it.

  4. I had no idea it cost $300!  I would say that it is not worth it, if you want to know how raise children God's way, read the Bible, and pray for guidance, and use your common sense that God gave you.

When kids do wrong they need consequences, when they do well they need praise.  They should be talked to and taught right from wrong, not just simply punished and rewarded.  If punishment is necessary they should be made aware why they are being punished and what the right course of action would have been.

They should understand first and foremost that they are loved, and that any discipline they receive is done out of love and for their own benefit, so that they can learn the difference between good and bad.

Its really not that hard, and you don't need $300 to do it.

As for the specific book or whatever that you are asking about, I haven't read it or watched it or whatever, but I still feel I am raising my children as God would have me to.

  5. If you're talking about the Ezzo GKGW, I highly recommend you stay away from it, especially if there are babies involved.

If you're talking about some sort of school curriculum (which I'm assuming is the case, based on the price you're quoting) then I don't know enough about it, but $300 is an awful lot of money, at least for my pocketbook!
