  1. When this is happening have her point her toes out then bring them back up.  Have her do this over n over till pain is gone. This way she doesnt have to get up 2 stretch.  They will eventually go away.  Good luck.

  2. First, I must say that I am insulted that you seem to not want us Dads to answer your question.

If she is having cramps in her thigh, have her put the foot (of the leg that is cramping) into the hand of the same side of  her body, (behind her back) and pull it towards her back. This will stretch her thigh on the front of her leg. If the cramp feels as if it is on the inside of her thigh, have her stand with her legs slightly more than shoulder width apart and lean to the opposite side of the cramp. This will stretch the inside (almost the groin area) of the cramping inner thigh.

For her calf, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, then take a step backwards (on the side that is cramping) about two to three feet (height-dependent) and attempt to place the heel of the rear foot on the ground, thus stretching the calf muscle. Another stretch for the calf is to, again, standing with your feet shoulder-width apart, bend over and grab the toe (one foot at a time!) and pull it upwards. this will also stretch the calf muscle.

And, why do most Moms think us single Dads are ignorant of such things?

  3. I hated them, this worked for me. Point her toes towards up and towards her calf as much as possible. Also, make sure she is eating enough bananas and vitamins.

  4. have her put her toes on the wall and her heel on the floor and press her leg down. i dont know how else to explain it. just try different ways. everyone is different and stretch's different.

  5. Stretch it out and it's also to take some tylenol for the pain if needed.

  6. Epsom salt baths

  7. I know putting rubbing alchol on it will help, my mom did this with my brothers growing pains in his legs when he was younger.  hopes this helps and good luck.
