Growing peppers. how do i tell when they're ripe.

Question

i am growing peppers.

well, its green at the moment and about 3 inches. it makes that hollow noise when i tap it.

basically, how can i tell when its ready to be picked and eaten. will it stay green or is it yet to change colour.

they aren't propaly ripe yet but you can eat them

Peppers go from green to yellow to orange then red when ripe in salads or stir frys,but can be eaten at any stage, but I personally don't like the green ones.
