  1. consistency

  2. Cheap and readily available.

  3. Price and availability. You can get a burguer on every corner. Now poor countries are getting on the same page while Us is tending to start with more and more organic and health foods.

  4. Fast food is just that: Fast. It is easily gotten. Most places (even small towns) have the large chains such as McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, and so on and so forth. Then you have to account for price: all of these fast food chains jumped on the bandwagon for a "Value Menu" of some sort. Many people will flock to places that are fast and cheap.

Advertising is also a reason the fast food chains are so popular. They constantly advertise how much healthier they're getting. When McDonald's came out with their salads, people thought, "Hey, I can go there with my kids and I can eat healthy." That, however, isn't the case. Most of the salads are no where nearly as healthy as they would be if you bought one yourself from a grocery store.

People on the go love fast food. They can hit a drive-thru in minutes flat and have the calories to last them the rest of the day (too bad they probably shouldn't eat a week after that one trip to the drive-thru.)

Final reason fast food is popular...the food makes you feel good (for the most part until the grease sets in.) The man who ate nothing but McDonald's for a month or two or three (in Supersize Me) stated that when he ate McDonald's, he immediately felt good. Of course, after consuming all of those calories and chemicals they put in the fries to preserve them for weeks, he began feeling bad.

  5. i'm not doing your homework.

  6. people are lazy there do not want to actually turn on their ovens at home. Also, they are suckers for advertising. They say Oh let's go to McDonalds, they have the new Chicken Chipolte Snack Wrap there " after seeing the commercial"

  7. It is seen in the media as the "American way of life". Since everyone does it, we should too (*sarcasm).

What happened to the good ol' days of cooking at home everyday?

  8. Fast and easy, and Americans are lazy...

  9. some low-life Americans who are just impatient. Oh wait! I'm like that a little bit too!!! Ah f-u-c-k!
