I am thinking of possibly growing strawberries next year. How much space do they need ? How much direct sunlight a day do they need ? Does anyone have any tips ?

  1. Strawberries will grow well in Ontario. Plant them in a sandy soil, good drainage, about 5 inches apart, in full sunlight and away from another very strong root source.  Water frequently.  They may not produce the first year, but eventually they should do well,

They produce something called "runners"  which is like a vine but in the ground.  Where  ever you buy your plants there should be full information available.
