Growing trees indoor for maple syrup?

In theory, do you think it would work? If they moved trees in a large indoor facility where they control the envoronment. That would solve all the temperature problems they are having.

Just something that jumped into my mind watching How Its Made.

Sun lights, could be done, but so expensive.

If we can solve the problem we face. Espeacially, the great amount of cost.

Yeah they could eventually get it to work, but the cost of the maple syrup would be more than gold!
