I have a seed at the moment and its green/white is it still good to grow? And I'm going to be growing it in a cup in the beginning and I'm wondering how deep the seed has to be, how much to water per day, and how much sunlight it needs

  1. i'm not sure how deep or how much water, but i do know that it needs a lot of light. its actually a tropical plant, so if you think about what its natural growing surrounding would be...

  2. well first u have to put them in a damp paper towel for 4 days and if a stem shows then u can put it in the soil when u put it in a cup put it in a styrafom cup thats how i did it and rain water helps it grow 2

  3. Plant your seed in a small container of potting soil. Plant the seed about 1/4 inch deep. Keep the soil damp until the seed germinates. As the greenery grows, and the plant increases in size, water when it is dry, and repot as necessary to accommodate the growing plant. It's gonna need lots of sun or some other light source for about 14 hours a day during the growing phase. If you're located in the northern hemisphere, you'll need an artificial light source this time of year. It's a little late in the season for growth. It's flowering time.

  4. Can you be more specific? Do you know what this seed is? Green/white, could mean anything depending on what kind of plant it is. Could be over watered, underwatered, root bound, or if it's just an exposed seed or bulb and it has a small sprout I would tend to think it's growing season is almost over. Put it in a small pot with some miracle gro potting soil and place it in a bright window inside, perhaps? It would be nice if you could find out what the seed is. Hope my answer helps.
