My son has been sleeping about 5-6 hours at night. Last night he fell asleep at 10:30 and was up to nurse at 1 am, 3 am and 5 am and the we got up at 8 am (it's Labor Day). The kids and I go back to school this week (I'm a school administrator). Please tell me this will pass in a few days!

  1. Three months is a typical time for a growth spurt.  Usually it only lasts a few days, but kids don't read the calendar.  There's nothing to do but fill up his tummy and watch him grow.  There's often another one around six months - maybe you'll luck out and it'll be around Thanksgiving and you won't have to be this tired while working.

  2. Very common. They eat and sleep more

  3. My daughter went through a growth spurt about 3 weeks ago and she is just settling back down. I can't remember my son being this bad but every baby is different. She could be fine in a couple of days but it could take a couple of weeks. Good Luck.
