Question:

Grr , I feel fat ... ?

Just thought I'd ask it again because their are like no new questions in this section right now ...

Well at the beginning of summer I felt good about the way my body looked , Like I could wear shorter shorts and actually feel "Hot" Well you might know the feeling ... maybe , lol .

But recently I've been feeling really fat , like obese fat ....

I don't think I'm obese ,...

I'm a Girl and I'm 13 ,

I wear a Medium in shirts ,

size 5 in pants ,

I'm 5'8 ,

and I weight 133 lbs .

and at beginning of summer I weighed more then I do now ...

What can I do to make myself loose weight ?,

or at least make me feel less fat ?

Why am I recently feeling fatter ?

It's all confusing ...

  1. Like the first person said, it's the age where bodies are changing.  Sometimes that can happen so fast that it takes a while to get comfortable in your adult body.  But you will.  Fromy your description, it doesn't sound as though you need to lose weight.  But one thing that can make you feel like you're in better shape is exercise.  Do you play any sports? Enjoy walking, biking, running?  Try working out regularly.  It will make you feel better about your body and will give you something to do besides worry about whether you're fat.  


  2. You don't sound fat to me. I wouldn't try to lose weight, considering you're not really fat, because that leads to eating disorders.  

  3. Stop eating, this will cause you to look and feel "Hot" like you once did.

  5. You don't need to loose wait.  You're just fine.  

  6. You don't need to lose weight... you need to accept the fact that you are entering puberty and that your body is changing.  You're supposed to gain weight in all the places you don't want to.

  7. Hey, at this age your body is changing alot...

    Two weeks ago I could hardly fit into my shorts.

    Today my super-tight jeans were falling off without a belt.

    I'm 14, believe me....

    But hey, make sure you don't eat burgers all the time, body also needs some green stuff no matter how much you hate it.

  8. You DON'T need to lose weight. I think it's 5 pounds more for each inch? You should weigh 30 pounds more than me, when you in fact weigh 15 pounds more. I'm 5'1 and weigh about 115 pounds, a healthy weight for someone my height. We're just about the same age.

    That's not a lot for being so tall at your age.

    I hate it when people at a healthy weight complain just cause they aren't twigs.
