Worked perfectly well, i've had it about a year now and it used to be able to play dvds i made in avi. and divx format, yet just recently when ive tried it displays a message saying 'wrong disc'. I havent changed my method of burning dvds or anything, it plays bought dvds fine. Any ideas?

  1. i think first u should check that DVD in your computer and check it whether it is correctly working in your computer or not and also check in which format u have burned it....and if everything is alright then buy another DVD of good brand and burn it again...coz i think there should be no fault in DVD player....

  2. Players are very finicky with media. Perhaps you changed the brand of the DVD media to something your player does not support.  For example, many players will not support re-writables (DVD-RW or DVD+RW) or media with an Xspeed higher than what they support. So, I would check my media. Buy whatever media used to work.
