Grzegorz Soszynski will now be promoted by Roy Jones Junior’s Square Ring Promotions – Boxing News
Grzegorz Soszynski, the current IBF North American light heavyweight champion, who recently collected a huge win over Rayco Saunders, has finalised the deal in accordance to which Soszynski will now brawl on behalf of Square Ring Promotions, a boxing promotion
organisation led by Roy Jones Junior.
According to the details, the announcement and the contract signing ceremony recently took place at a local hotel and the representatives from both sides shared their thoughts on the successful settlement of the deal.
Soszynski, 30, is a surging light heavyweight who has been in a total 23 bouts and boasts 21 wins. He has nailed 10 of his opponents by knockout and has proudly held not only the Polish International light heavyweight title but also WBC Mediterranean light
heavyweight title as well.
In addition to the titles, the polish orthodox has put forth the boxing fanatics some impressive and memorable performances which have eventually guaranteed the fact that his presence in any bout will definitely gather much praise from the fans and will
give them a wild ride of their life.
Soszynski has collected wins over many big names by defying even the toughest odds. Grzegorz, who is well known as ‘The Eagle’, recently collected a win over Rayco Saunders and grabbed the IBF title.
Before that he took on Geard Ajetovic and collected an impressive majority decision in his favour to win the WBC Mediterranean light heavyweight title. Apart from above, Soszynski has also collected wins over more experienced Karim Bennama, Zoltan Beres
and others.
During the press conference, Sam Colonna, Soszynski’s trainer, while sharing his thoughts commented, “Grzegorz is not only a very good boxer but also a great human being. We clicked from the beginning perfectly, and I wish every trainer could have a fighter
with his skills and dedication to hard work.”
At the same time, John Wirt, CEO Square Ring Promotions, who also made the announcement and finalised the deal process remarked, “We are pleased to announce the signing of Grzegorz Soszynski to an exclusive promotional agreement with Roy Jones, Junior’s
Square Ring Promotions.”
John thanked Sam and praised the fact that despite having a wide variety of choices, Soszynski has placed his trust in them and conferred the responsibility of being promoted on Square Ring adding that it is an honour and we will portray his talent and brawling
style in the most apropos manner.
Wirt stated, “I’d like to thank Gregory and his managers, Radek Konder and Wes Chylicki for their professionalism and assistance in closing this deal.” Grzegorz is now continuing his training under the supervision of Sam Colona and is most probably ready
to defend his title in the upcoming bout.
