Guadalajara or Monterrey?

When you think of Mexico, which city represents it more?

Guadalajara= Tequila, Mariachis, Charros, Carlos Santana

Monterrey= Industry, Cabrito, Norteno Music.

Well dude both cities are really important in Mexico. When you think it economically, Monterrey has advantage on it, it is a very industrialized city and has some direct influence form the US being close to it; but when it is about representing in a cultural way... Guadalajara!!! Guadalajara is older, took place on the Mexican Independence, and have lots of cultural sites & traditions. Above the tequila, tortas ahogadas, mariachis, charros, tepache, tejuino... downtown of Guadalajara has lots of memorial sites, such as the Catedral, Instituto Cabañas, Degollado Theater, Belen's Graveyard, Zapopan's Basilic... and many many other places.

Above all, Guadalajara has lots of neighbor towns with a huge cultural richness such as Sayula, Tapalpa, Tala, Arandas, Tequila...
