Guadalajara to Guanajuato by bus, is this a good ride? How much is the fare? how long?

My family is going to Guadalajara for over a week and I want to make a quick trip to Guanajuato.

the trip is 4 to six hours, and how much you spend on your ticket is how good your ride will be. If you do take the bus ride be care full and do not eat any thing any one offers you on or around the bus. carry your own food if you can. keep your money in two places and only show small bills, once you get to guanajuato dont forget to visit the mummies.

Greyhound does not have service in that area.  ETN Autobuses has 6 bus runs per day on that route.  The fare is 320 pesos one way.  See site below.
