Guard vs Reserves...

Question

Which pays more for college? What program would one look into that wants to enlist while they're 17, go through the split option program, and then stay in while they attend college?

Money isn't a big thing with me, I have more important reasons for wanting to do this but I've narrowed it down to either the Reserves or the Guard until after college and am looking for pros and cons of each.

The guard will give you more money for school. I'd suggest going straight through, because the chance of getting a school date over summer break is probably slim not to mention some schools are more than 3 months.
