Guardian angels/spirit guides?

Question

I'm very interested in this subject but find that I'm kinda lacking some info about it. Does everyone have guardian angels/spirit guides? How do you communicate or make contact with them? What do they do for you, exactly? These are the kinds of questions I would like answers to. Anything helps!

Guardian angels and spirit guides are contrasting entities. The phrase Guardian angels comes from the fact that Jesus condemned those who were not gracious to children by telling these people that the angels who watched over the children had special access to God.   That we all have guardian angels is implied.  

We are told that we are to contact God personally, He is the one that gives the angels instructions.  God loves us and desires that we contact him. Jesus is the one familiar with our difficulties and weaknesses such that He can and does make intercession for us before God constantly.

Spirit guides are demonic spirits who attempt to deceive us into thinking they are good, and can help us.  Truth is they are not good, and they do not help people.

Answer : Breath from your belly if you are able to - this way you can focus on the breathing and relaxation will come easier. If there are any thoughts that are popping up in you head, let them go and focus  .

Visualize that there is a white light surrounding you, with you. It banishes all negative thoughts and behaviors. Breath the light in until you feel that you are completely at peace with yourself.

Relax and meditate for a couple of minutes. If you have any thoughts, let them go and continue with the meditation. When you feel like you're ready, say: Guardian angel, come to me. Exhale slowly and say to yourself: With love and will, so let it be.

Pause and repeat this breathing exercise for as long as you like, then let it fade away. Continue breathing and set yourself open to your guardian angel. No matter what you see or feel, stay relaxed and centered

    Thank the divine for this gift and experience.

   When you are done, again see yourself surrounded by white light and see it disperse or fade into Mother Earth. Slowly come back to the physical world.

Everyone has a guardian angel, with no exceptions. This is the angel who constantly stays with you, and makes certain you are safe and guided always.

Guardian angels are sometimes confused with "spirit guides." A spirit guide is a loving being who has lived upon the earth in human form. The guide is there to give you general advice, comfort, and at times warning and protection.

Spirit guides act in the capacity of guardian angels, in that they bring many gifts to our lives. The main difference is that true guardian angels, who have never walked as mortals upon the earth, have a higher vibrating energy frequency. People who are empathic, who can "feel" the sensation of a spiritual presence, can tell the palpable difference between an angelic and a spirit guide appearance.

Those who try to tell you that spirit guides are demonic are woefully uninformed.

I don't quite know but, I do know that in the book of psalms David speaks about how angels surround him on every corner as he is on his bed. I forgot what chapter and verse; I need to go and look that up.
