The Spanish international has voiced his opinion regarding the outgoing Barca boss, claiming that nostalgia will bring the trainer back.

Pique believes that the outstanding time that the Catalan tactician had at the Nou Camp is a memory that will always be cherished by those who were around him during his reign at the Spanish giants.
Although the former Manchester United man was unable to hide his displeasure at watching the Spaniard leave the club, he appeared rather optimistic in regard of the future.
As La Blaugrana managed to win their 14th trophy under the hugely successful manager on Friday, football audiences all over the world witnessed Guardiola’s last game as the trainer for one of the strongest teams on the planet.

Friday night saw the 41-year-old manager’s sun set at the Catalan outfit, although he did sign off in style.

Guardiola went on to lead Azulgrana to 14 trophies in just four seasons.
As the tactician prepares his departure from the Nou Camp, Pique is hopeful that he will come back to the club he managed for four years.
While talking to reporters, the full-back quoted:
“He knew internally that it was time to leave, and he will now feel a bit of nostalgia after leaving the club, but will return someday. This season I have not played as well as I would have liked, but I'm very proud to have been with him for four years.
“I thank him for all that he has taught me and I'm happy that he has added a new title before leaving.”
