The former Barcelona coach is still pondering over his future and rumours suggest that he will be signing for a big European club soon.
After his departure from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, Guardiola has been the centre of attention from all the elite European clubs.
His first season at the Nou Camp saw him win all the available trophies. A sextuple is something which no other manager has managed to achieve and Guardiola became the first and only manager to have accomplished this landmark.
However, last season, Barcelona lost the UEFA Champions League and the Spanish La Liga and hence, Josep Guardiola thought that it would be best to leave the Nou Camp and take a rest for at least a year.
Currently, the former Barcelona manager is resting and no club has signed him; however, there have been rumours linking the Catalan mentor to different elite European clubs.
There are several clubs in Europe who are going through a bad phase in their respective leagues.
For starters, the Premier League giants and the current European winners, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, are going through a rough patch.
Their owner, Roman Abramovich, sacked http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 in his first
three games.
Another club who has been eying Josep Guardiola is Manchester United. With their legendary manager, Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson, planning to retire soon, Josep Guardiola seems like the perfect replacement for him even though he himself has stated that Jose Mourinho
is a suitable replacement for him.
PSG are also a club who can avail the services of the Catalan mentor. However, the problem with the French side is the fact that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 is currently in their roster and he does not get along with the former Barcelona manager.
Moreover, Manchester City are also lining up a replacement for Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323, who has not been very successful in the UEFA Champions League and has not even helped his side qualify for the knock-out stages of the prestigious competition.
Guardiola is currently a gamble which all the elite clubs are willing to take as his performance with Barcelona was phenomenal throughout his time there.
