The Nerazzurri midfielder insists he is looking to prove his worth at the San Siro and hoping for a lasting stay with the Italian giants.
Fredy Guarin has finally returned from injury to start his training with Inter Milan, and hopes to grab a permanent move by proving his value to the team.
Although the playmaker joined on loan from Porto several months ago, he has failed to feature for the Nerazzurri due to a calf injury.
The Beneamata player insisted that he is trying to keep his focus away from the pressure of the loan situation, and wants to concentrate on his performance at the club. The midfielder revealed that he wants to impress the club
with a good display of his skills, and improve his chances of a permanent move to the club.

“I try not to think about the pressure of the loan situation. I try only to prove my worth. The renewal depends on what decisions the club makes, but I am calm and can only say I’ll do my best to show what I can do.”
The Columbian commended club President, Massimo Moratti, for the trust that he has put in the former Saint-Étienne player, and insisted that he is motivated to repay the gratitude.
“I spoke with President Massimo Moratti a couple of times. He has a very positive mentality and I hope to repay his faith in me as soon as possible.”
The Porto-owned player was all praise for his team-mates and the fans, who offered a good welcome to the new player. He insisted that he wants to thank them by contributing towards the resurrection of the troubled club.
The Nerazzurri playmaker insisted that he has made good progress on his recovery, but he will need some time to get back into prime form.
“The last week’s work has been very important. It was an extremely serious injury and after four months it won’t be easy to immediately get back to the top level.”
