I like Jocotan, its a nice little town near the Honduras border.  Its usually pretty warm there during the day, but the temp. can drop rather drastically at night sometimes.  Rainy season from April/May to September/early October.  Typically rains for about an hour around 3pm.    Nearby Camotan is nice as well, and its a short trip to the ruins of Copan in Honduras, under an hour away.
