Guatemalan currency - Moneda de Guatemala?

Does anyone know why on the NEW Guatemalan 1 Quetzal bill it says in the bottom left corner on the front "Canadian Bank Note" ...It seems odd to me. Whats the story behind this?

¿Alguien sabe por qué en el nuevo proyecto de ley de Guatemala 1 Quetzal se dice en la esquina inferior izquierda de la parte frontal "Banco de Canadá Nota" ... Parece extraño para mí. ¿Cuál es la historia detrás de esto?

Most foreign bank notes are printed in the US.  Most of the middle east and South America included.  Guatemala's currency is printed in Canada by the Canadian Bank Note Company.  The coins in guatemala are also printed by the Royal Canadian Mint.

This is done due to security reasons and to prevent corruption.
