the first one is a Quarter horse buckskin and the second one is part arab horse. like QH and Arab. But its a palomino.

im not sure about the first one but the second maybe a palomino.

#1 is a mustang, and #2 is a saddlebred or a TWH.  Those are my guesses!

the buckskin looks like a quarter horse, and the palomino looks like an arab/quarter horse cross.

Haha I love the people who answered like "uhh I think its a roan and a palomino" wow the question was for breeds, not coat color. There's some real Einsteins on here!! =p

I'm going to say that #1 Rio is a Welsh Pony or Quarter Horse, hard to tell from the picture angle...and he's a dun not roan people.

o shiny horses! haha, i LOVE shiny palominos! they're GORGEOUS! (sorry, I'm in awe of how nice they both look [=)

but the first one SCREAMS QH (but knowing me, I'll be wrong)

i can't guess for the second, maybe some gaited breed, i would say TB but her color makes it not as plausible.  

they both look so gooooodd!

Rio is a quarter horse. and roan is not a breed to those who dont know

and Soleil (cool name) is a tennessee walker

Alright... I'm going out on a limb here because You said no one has gotten them right yet... I think Rio is a.... Mustang? And I'll say Quarter Horse for Soleil. *I also kinda want to say MFT for Soleil??*

They are both very pretty horses, by the way.

The first one looks like a Quater Horse.

The second one looks like an Anglo-Arab, Or Part arab.  It could also be a palmino.  It has that built!

Thats what they look like but they are wonderful and have great conformation.

OKay well The first one is NOT a ROAN! Its a Buckskin! Lol... Quarter horse is my best beat!

The second one is a palomino quarter horse!

Palomino: Paint,  Tennessee Walker, or Morgan.

PS~ Yes, Soleil is Palomino...however, Palomino is a COLOR breed.  So, she is probably double registered.

Same could apply to Rio as I believe there is a Buckskin COLOR registry..if I'm not mistaken..or is he considered a Dun because of the dorsal stripe???
