  1. Of course, it all depends.  Where are you flying from?  Where are you going to?  How long do you want to stay?  Do you want to stay in a "fancy" hotel?  How old are the kids?

From a major city airport, using a package deal like Apple Vacations, Worry Free Vacations, Fun Jet, etc., you can stay in a 3 or 4 star hotel, 4 or 5 days, less than $4000.  That would be paying full price.  You can shop around and get a good deal and it can be considerably less.

Air for kids is the same as adult price.  (If the child is under 2 years old and sits in your lap, they are free.)  Most hotels have kids 12 and under stay free.  Over 12 pay adult price.  But there are a few hotels that have kids 17 and under free.  Also, some hotels do not allow more than 4 people in one room, some hotels have family suites that allow 5 or 6.  You really need to shop around to find the best deal.

My last trip was to Cancun in May.  2 adults, one child, 3 days, 4+ star all inclusive, I paid $1200.  So in your situation, you could something similar, get 2 rooms, and it would be less than $3000.

  2. Take a cruise that goes to Mexico  instead, the ships have great kids activities for all ages.Time as a family time & as a couple ...you get the best of both worlds.Shop around for the best prices. We have been with our kids at all different ages....can't wait to do it again .Our last cruise with Carnival was about 2200 for 6 nights in a balcony cabin

  3. Boy, this depends on so many factors like where from and where too. Major tourist towns can be as pricey as any other toursit destination with rooms over $350/nite. Air fares are up all over, but if you live in San Diego or souther CA, you can walk across to a taxi on the MX side and take a Aero California Flight for $250/person from TK to La Paz. In La Paz you can find family accomodations in a suite for $150+ a night. Food is another broad spectrum, you will find the well know beach destinations expensive. In Baja places like Loreto and La Paz will be about 1/2 that of Cabo or Puerta Vallarta. Be aware, in most of Mexico it is HOT in the summertime and by August most of the country gets tropical humid too. If you are expecting this you can still have a great time.

  4. u could probably try going to expedia.com
