Our friend is custom making our guest book with letterpress and I am looking for ideas for the interior.

Do guest books typically have an address section or message section? What does yours look like inside?

TIA.

  1. The one i was given had a place for the name and comments-- That is typically better-- you don't need the addresses really. If you want to write them thank yous later than you can do that through list of addresses u would have from sending the invites

  2. My guest book had a line for the name and a line for the address. After much consideration, I drew a line through the word 'address' and wrote 'comments'.... it was WAY more fun to have people write their comments in the guest book!

Besides, I thought the address thing was SO STUPID because obviously you already have everyones address! How else would they have gotten the wedding invitation?!

  3. mine was bought for me.  You can make yours unique. If i had someone making mine i would want an address section, a message section, etc...

  4. You may want to consider having a polaroid camera handy (you can find them cheap on Craigslist) and have your coordinator or a friend go around to each table taking pics then having them sign a page in your book where you will place the pic.  It's like a wedding picture book you can look back on and enjoy rather than just looking at signatures and comments alone. I think they even have sticky pockets you can put in your book to slide the pics in right away.
