Question:

Guidance System Surfboard Fin?

I'm looking for a "guidance system" surfboard fin for a late '60s/early '70s vintage Rick Speed Machine surfboard. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one? I have tried oneworldsurf.com and unfortunately they do not have any guidance system fins. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

  1. tell me more about the Rick "Speed Machine" I don't know it, although I rode two great Ricks in the late 60s, an 8'6" Plastic fantastic V bottom that I put a New E Free waveset fin in, and an 7'6" round tail, with a stock wave set fin. Might you want to sell that old Rick?

One World Surf sells Wave Sets, Hobies and Hansens, but if contact them, they might be able to hook you up with a Guidance System.

This site has guys who restore old Bings, and I have seen pictures of Guidance System fins on the site, they might help.

This outfit sells lots of vintage boards, and if you reach out for them they might be able to find a fin for you.

Now, if you don't want to go through all that hassle, just E-mail John F with a photo opf that RickSpeed Machine and a price offer. Surfing since 1966

One more thought, take this over to Yahoo Answers - "Surfing", there are a few other old timers over there who might help.
