Guide Plus Gold service on a 2000 Zenith TV

We recently received a 36 inch ZenithTV manufactured in 2000. It has a small window on the screen demonstrating Guide Plus+ Gold service. We don't think this service is offered anymore and we can't figure out how to get the window off the screen. We've been searching the web for days and can't find anything. Can you help us?
