  1. Expect Aussie's to have a joke at your expense and make sure you return the favour we like people who don't take themselves too seriously.

  2. Extremely nice people if you by them a beer they'll be even nicer. Just Respond to them in the way you usually do but if it is weird they'll just laugh (don't get offended) but if you get on the wrong side of them you will suffer the consequences (swearing at you). they have a laid back personality and we use alot of sarcasm. If you greet an Aussie say G'day and we have a weird sense of humour

  3. if you expect nothing your response is everything

nna were awsome were relaxed and good to be around youll have a really good time wherever your going

    know whatt sarcasm is.

trust people i rekon thats a pretty big thing here but not too much.

and have a firm hand shake a hand shake is a judge of someones character.

  4. Excellent question

Expect a lot of grog, probably tinnies or stubbies, possibly some goon.

Talk quieter than normal as Australians have sensitive hearing and maybe try to figure out something for yourself before you ask a question.  Don't stop suddenly in the middle of the footpath to take a photo.  There are signs for everything so follow the signs before asking directions.

  5. Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed :)

Lots of whacky humour is what you'll get.

  6. Take almost anything as a joke. Be realxed and yourself, i bet you have no problem.

  7. Copious amounts of cash, given to total strangers, is a ritual in most places.  Failure to observe this ritual will usually result in painful injury.

Australians often react to undue solemnity with jokes and teasing.  If they crack a smile while doing it, they lose.  If you respond in kind, and they believe you, they lose big time.

  8. they are sooooo nice!

i went last year for a month. they could have an attitude at times when you walk on the wrong side of the side walk but they are totally chill. if you have any questions about anything, ask me i have lots of information. also try brushing up on your aussie slang you do and dont want to say...for instance dont say f***y, because that is a derogatory word for v****a.
