Fully-fit and ready to play, France international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Guillaume-Hoarau-c15332 took his time out to speak about his future with Paris Saint-Germain and his chances of representing France in the upcoming European Championships in Ukraine and Poland.
26-year-old scored a goal via a penalty kick after coming from the bench in a 4-2 win over Athletic Bilbao in a Europa League group game. The goal however, was not enough as Red Bull Salzburg defeated Slovan Bratislava 3-2 to go through to the last 32 of
the competition at the expense of PSG.
However, while talking to L’Equipe, Hoarau said that he felt good after scoring a goal minutes after making his return from a lengthy injury lay-off. “Coming back and scoring a goal even from a penalty spot, is always nice.”
Small it may be, this achievement would certainly go a long way in shaping Hoarau’s future at Camp des Loges and Hoarau is fully aware of the fact that he needs to work even harder than before in order to become an integral part of Paris Saint-Germain side
that will see arrival of new players in the upcoming winter transfer window.
However, Hoarau is not worried about facing stiff competition in the second half of the season. Playing regularly is now even more important than ever for Hoarau as the Frenchman needs to be in contention of a place in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899’s squad that will compete for
the European Championships next year.
The lanky striker is very much appreciated by Les Bleus coach Laurent Blanc. However, things might have already changed following the introduction of Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud. The French striker has already made his debut for Les Bleus and might
be favoured ahead of Hoarau for the event co-hosted by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032.
However, Blanc has already said that he is yet to make a final squad and is willing to see more good performances before finalising his team.
Since signing from Le Havre in 2008, Hoarau has scored 32 goals in 88 Ligue 1 appearances for the Ile giants and a few more important goals along with solid performances will go a long way in securing the Reunion-born striker’s future at PSG and France.
