The Paris Saint-Germain striker is attracting a lot of interest from the Rhone side who are keen on signing at least one striker before the end of the transfer window
So far this summer, Ligue 1 outfit, AS Saint-Etienne have successfully managed to strengthen their defence and midfield by bringing in some experienced players.
The likes of Romain Hamouma (from Caen), Francois Clerc (OGC Nice), http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mathieu-Peybernes-c24689 (FC Sochaux), joining the Forez this summer.
However, the new aim of manager, Christophe Galtier is to find a striker who can support http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabon-c2902 international, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who was the brightest stars for Les Verts in the 2011/2012 campaign. The youngster scored 16 goals in 36 Ligue 1 games
and with a good striker alongside him, the youngster can do even better this season.
Yesterday, Argentine striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Guillaume-Hoarau-c15332 is attracting a lot of interest from the Foreziens.
While talking to media, Galtier admitted of his interest in the France international. However, the astute tactician admits that PSG will be reluctant to sell one of their better performers to a rival club.
“We know him, yes, but the club has spoken with him and with the leaders of PSG. I found the Parisians very smart. They are currently building a non-standard side, never seen in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899, but they will not try to strengthen their competitors.”
Even if he does not expect the arrival of Hoarau, Galtier admits that the club is still looking to sign a striker before the summer transfer window shuts down next month.
Reports claim that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lynel-Kitambala-c22973 is all set to leave the club in the coming days. The French player of Congolese descent has never managed to impress during his time at the Rhone side and reports claim that Ajaccio are keen on signing the 23-year-old left-winger.
And, Galtier is keen on finding a replacement soon. However, Galtier will not let the player go if he is unable to find a replacement meaning that sooner or later, the club will have to find a decent striker.
