Ligue 1 big-spenders Paris Saint-Germain have opened dialogues with Mexico international goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa over a move to the capital side according to reports in French media.
However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Guillermo-Ochoa-c15350 has stressed that though negotiations have started, his arrival at the Parc des Princes is far from imminent because the young keeper needs guarantees that he will not play doubles upon his arrival at PSG.
Ochoa was one of the four members of the Mexican national team who were tested positive for the usage of banned substance Clenbuterol during the recently concluded 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Les Parisiens have recently signed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicolas-Douchez-c27810 from Stade Rennais which means that the Mexican keeper is understandably worried if he will be a regular player for the club next season or not.

A few days ago, Mexican media claimed that Ochoa’s transfer to PSG was imminent. However, sources close to Ochoa say that the 25-year-old is not sure whether he will be signing for PSG or not.
With Douchez already in the squad, Ochoa is now having second thoughts about joining PSG as he fears that he might not be getting regular opportunities at the club. The Mexican is now in talks with other clubs as well according to reports in French media.
Ochoa is currently a free agent which means that he has a lot of options to choose from. The 25-year-old’s agent, while talking to the media said, “One thing is clear, Ochoa will not come (to PSG) to play doubles. He wants to come to Europe to reach the
next level, not to polish the bench.”
Ochoa has already made 211 appearances for Club http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/America-c38390 and has made over 45 appearances for the Mexican national team which means that the highly-rated goalkeeper has enough experience in him to deserve a number 1 role at any club he joins.
A move to Paris Saint-Germain might not be Ochoa’s priority any more as the Mexican is not accustomed to sitting on the bench. Furthermore, with an experienced keeper like Douchez already in their squad, PSG should pursue a young and upcoming goalkeeper
who can be an understudy to the 31-year-old Frenchman rather than signing another experienced goalkeeper.
