Guilty or not guilty when on jury?

Do you have to tell anybody why you say there guilty or not gulty? Or can they even ask you that?

  1. I don't quite understand what you are asking but if you are the person on trial, they cannot ask you if you are guilty or why you think you are not guilty? That's too prejudicial to the jury.


  2. During the course of deliberation, people outside of the jury can not talk to you. After the fact, it is better to not to say anything, but they are allowed to ask, and you to answer (if you would like).You have no obligation to respond. During verdict deliberation it is your duty to say one way or the other with your reason.
