Guinea Pig's age??????

Question

How can I tell how old my guinea pig is?? If this helps, he's a boy. (I want to know how old he is so I can give him a birthday date.)

Its fairly impossible to tell the age of a guinea pig unless its very young, and you can guess by size and weight. After about a year old, you just can't tell.

The best indicator of age, in my opinion, is by looking at the toenails. If they are short and pointy, this is a young pig. If they are long and shaped more like a spaghetti noodle, this is an older pig.

well you should weigh him each week and if he keeps gaining a little every week the you will that hes still growing and so that means hes below a year.  Also by weighing him you will know quicker if hes sick cause he'l loses weight
