I have two guinea pigs and I was wondering how old are they before they get adult size. They are both 4 months old and one is 1.4 pounds and the other is 1.6 pounds (they are both females). Will they get any bigger than this? Thanks in advance!! :]

  1. They might get a little bigger. It all depends on the individual guinea pig. But reguardless of the size, always love your little piggies!!=]

  2. they are still quiet small at 4 months and will grow up until a year old. xx  my piggies (except one as he is a little ill) are 1.19 and 1.20 pounds.  my ill one is 1.03 pounds.  they are 2 yrs and  year.

  3. They might. Some guinea pigs are smaller than others. I used to have guinea pigs, however they were to big really for my small apartment to hold.

Mine were bigger, but they got big around 1 year for me. However my second set of guinea pigs got big around 5 months.

It really depends. I wouldn't worry to much about it, they can't get much bigger than they already are.. maybe a tiny bit bigger.

    Happy guinea pigging!
