  1. You cannot just throw two unintroduced pigs in a cage together. You are asking for a fight, injured pigs, or worse.

Separate the pigs immediately until you have done PROPER INTRODUCTIONS.  Here is the link that will explain how neutral territory introductions are done. You'll have scroll down a bit to find it. Since you already put them together, any quarantine benefits are history. Now you'll need to watch both pigs for illness or parasite issues.

You should have done some research before you did this. :S

  3. Yes.

You can't just throw two guinea pigs together, especially male ones.

You need to do a split cage with them- google 'split cage for guinea pigs' for more details.

  4. Are you serious? You put 2 stranger male guinea pigs in the same cage? I suggest you do a lot of research for the sake of your gps. Seperate them immediately.

  5. there are different levels of fighting. You post is not informative, you didnt describe what happened. Did the actually attack, fly in the air and flip around, eachother, or was it just chattering and fur being bitten out?

  6. The one you have before will definately attack the new guinea pig to show his/her territorial domination! You should introduce them on the neutral zone in your house (where they will have space but not enough to run and hide from each other). Then Put some food in the middle of the run/neutral territory. They might start to come closer to each other.

There may be teeth chattering and bottom smelling, but you'll know in a few minutes if they will get along well. But you really need to supervise them for an hour or so just to see how it is going. If they don't bite or attack each other, it should be a good sign. But if they fight again, you would better not put them in the same cage.
