My friend and I have a question about Guinea Pigs. We want to share a Guinea Pig. We were wondering if we would be able to move it back and forth between our houses? Maybe if we both kept it for a week at a time? Would that work out?

Thanks!!

  1. You really shouldn't keep alternating the guinea pigs habitat, maybe if you just moved the cage back and forth. You should really boil water then cool it down in the fridge untill its cold, it kills all the bad stuff in the water, but you can also use just regular tap water, not sure how good it is for them though.

  2. I don't use water from the sink.  Its not really good for them.  I use either bottled water or boil water and store in in the fridge till it cools down and keeps the germs out.  Its not very healthy for the guinea pig to keep changing places its best for it to stay in one place.
