  1. They need a varied diet. Along with Timothy-based pellets, they should have a *constant* supply of Timothy hay. Kaytee Fiesta is not a very good food to feed your guinea pig, as it has lots of seeds in it which are not all that healthy. They need timothy-based pellets. If Kaytee is your only option, get Kaytee Timothy Complete.

They should also get about a cup of veggies every day. Parsley, romaine lettuce, carrots, red and green peppers.. There are lots of options.

  2. Veggies; Romaine lettuce, peppers, TINY slices of celery thats all i can think of right now

  3. The colored bits and seeds/nuts in their pellets are not a substitute for fresh veggies. In fact you need to ditch the Fiesta and find a better high quality PLAIN pellet. The bits are the equivalent to junk food. They are too fattening and they can choke.

No icerberg lettuce but you can feed romaine, red or green leaf, endive, escarole, cilantro, parsley, dandelion greens, spinach, bell peppers, etc.

Your guinea pig should have grass hay like timothy or orchard at all times too.
