Guinea pig, How much would it cost?

This is really sad for me to ask, but I have a guinea pig that isn't doing so good. How much would the vet charge me to put him to sleep? I live in Dana Point, California.

It depends on the vet, get on the phone and call around, ask them there opinion on what is wrong with the guinea pig and what they recommend.

Prices vary per vet. The average cost of euthanasia in my area is around $50.

I'm sure you've come to the end of your rope, so to speak, since you're considering such a drastic option. Sometimes though, things are not as bad as they seem---ask the vet if there is any hope for your piggie before making such a final and heart wrenching decision. There might be some hope!

Probably about $60.  Call your local vet and see if they can see the animal for a small fee, assess what is wrong.  It may be treatable.  Also, a local vet may be willing to set up a payment plan to treat your pet.
