Guinea pig Chinchilla = good combo?

Is it okay to put one or two guinea pigs into the same cage with one or two chinchillas?

I wouldnt see why not. They do it at the pet stores alot, mixing bunnies and guinea pigs. Guinea pigs are not hostile animals and so are chinchillas. However, you may want to think about the two guinea pigs getting along with eachother and not with the chinchilla. I've that happend where two ganged up on one and it got injured.

Of course not. They could fight and hurt each other. Don't house different species together. They also have different dietary and housing needs.

well, chinchillas by nature are not very aggressive animals so i don't see why not. however, at the first sign of trouble, i strongly suggest you get the guinea pigs out of there pronto.

No. by doing this some if not all of the animals will die. They will kill each other. It is tough to say when its okay to put two guinea pigs in the same cage and mixing them with chinchillas could be deadly.
