Guinea pig and popcorn?

Question

I bought some popcorn from the pet store for my guinea pig, but said only for hamsters, gerbils, and rats. My friend uses the same kind for her rabbit and he seems find with it. I already gave them the popcorn, they seem to like it a bit. Was that the wrong move?

Sounds fine to me.I feed my friend's guinea pig some popcorn and he was fine.

it should be fine as far as their health goes although they should always be supervised while eating it, it could be a choking hazard

i would give the guinea pig regular unflavored human popcorn its very healthy

Sounds ok, I saw the same thing and it says "and other small animals"
