Guinea pig choking symptoms?

how can you tell if a guinea pig is choking??

my new guinea pig has just chewed on a plastic container, and i'm scared because it might has swallowed it.

Unless he is gasping for breath he is not in any immediate danger. The plastic will most likley pass through his system and you'll find it in  his poo :)

If he's still walking around fine, he's probably not choking.  Animals eat weird things.  This too shall pass. (out the other end)  If it is acting sick, call the vet.
