  1. well, i know you want a hammy of a rat, but they do stink really bad, and they do bite. but if you really want one then i dont wanna stop you. o and if you really cant get a hammy or a rat, i would get a bunny. :)

  2. i love guinea pigs, but they stink... when their cages get bad....

dwarf hamsters are very small and cute so that my convince her. but the bad thing about dwarf hamsters is that they cannot be out of their cages without a hamster ball because i let mine out on my floor and was watching it, even blocked some places off for it, but it still got under my dresser. good thing it made its way out about 10 minutes later.... haha

  3. Hamster don't live long (average two years), and don't make very good pets. They bite, hard. When I had my hamsters, they would draw blood. Several times I had them bite and draw blood, and it took forever to stop the bleeding.

Rats and Guinea pigs, however live much longer (Rats about 5-7 years, Guinea pigs up to 10 years) and make wonderful pets. Both are very intelligent, you can even teach rats how to do tricks. Rats won't pee on you. They're smart and know that you don't like it. And guinea pigs are very active little guys. They do nibble, but just nibble, it's a sign of affection. My Cavy has never drawn blood, ever.

  4. First I would like to say cool!! You're getting a pet..how fun!!!!!! :D

OK, you really want to get a rat or hamster..right? And your mother wants you to get either a bird, guinea pig, or a bunny/rabbit. Right now, you want to convince your mother into getting you the animal that you want...right? O.K that part I got.

The part I didn't get is why wouldn't you want to get a bunny, bird OR guinea pig? My family has  had hamsters, and not to burst your bubble, but they BITE! And on top of that, they go to the bathroom a lot on you! If you would ask my siblings, they would strongly not recommend one, especially the dwarf kind..yikes!

Also, you want a rat. Well for the first part, you need more then one, because they will get lonely and sad without a cage-mate. Also, it honestly takes about 8 months to a year in some cases in order to have the rat fully bonded with you. That means the rat won't pee or poo on you. But when they DO pee and poo it makes a whole room smell. Cleaning the cage will be a weekly, maybe more. They might bite, too because mine bit me, and broke skin. But mostly they are SUPER friendly! :D

I recommend a gerbil. I've had SO many and have 2, and they ROCK!! They can be skirmish and possibly bite, but you need to treat them with ♥ in order for them to stop. Also they might p**p or pee. It doesn't make a room or house smell, trust me tho :D

For your mom, you need to respect her. I would say a bunny. I had a bunny named Foo-Foo and she had babies and they were cute. All she would do is sit in her cage. We tried taking her out on a bunny leash. but she was to fat :D)) he-he. They eat parsley and they're p**p is like coco puffs. I recommend keeping them outside for nice days. That's what we did. And, a guinea pig sleeps all day. He might do something called pop-corning in which he jumps up randomly and stuff. Cute. But I've never had one, oh and they drink sooo much and eat SO much and are noisy. I guess you could get too.

Lastly, don't get a bird. No offense, but I have 2 (one in which we found one day...) They are parakeets and all they do is sing and sit and occasional fly. You need a big cage for them.  They're nice animals tho. Also, sometimes they bite when you hold them. Make sure they have they're becks clipped and have this think were it wheres down the beak. (forgot the name)

Sorry for typing sooo much but i love animals.

    Good luck!!

  5. If she is worried about size, dwarf hamsters are about half the size of regular hamsters.

  6. Tell her that you would prefer a hamster because they are smaller and cuter. You also want to be responsible for something that can fit in your hand.

If she still says no guinea pigs at full size are about 6 in.

I would recomend a rabbit...Birds can be REALLY noisy.

  7. well guinea pigs and rabits ( and a bunny but the same a bunny is a baby rabit aldut.) pea and it stinks they are hard to take care of a rabbit is better then a guina pig. rabbits can live outside. A rat is easy to take car of too. All animals you have to clean there cage once a week and feed them every time they are out of water or food. A bird is a mess pet the are tough i have to seep under there cage every day.

  8. well i would say hamsters are cuter and more playful.

take her to the petstore let her hold the hamster and then she'll get so attached that she'll let you get the hamster...

...your so lucky your mom wants you to get an animal...we only have 2 dogs, 2 evil cats(that i wanna sell but my mom said no), and 5 hamsters(2 are the parents, and the rest are the kids...not all the babies my mom made us sell the rest of them)

  9. tell her you want a hamster they take less looking after less room and they dont smell if u clean them out regualy birds are noisy gunie pigs u have to keep outside alon with rabbits and u have tto get 2 of them to keep them happy ( 2 g pigs and rabbits) and hamsters are more independant give it ago she what she ses
