Guinea pig has milky looking urine?

i have a female guinea pig thats about 5 months old, and ever since ive gotten her, her pee keeps looking more cloudy each day. she eats a healthy diet of fruits and veggies, timothy hay, a salt l**k, and the crunchy cerial type food. should i be concerned about her milky looking pee..or is this normal?

I have a female GPig i have never noticed her pee looking like that b4 u could try to change her food instead of the cereal type of Gpig food try her wiv pellets dont let her have anything wiv dairy products in and also dont over feed her on the fruit and veg. If you end up to worried about her id suggest take her vets i know i would wiv mine. but a question the vet will ask is her poo ok does that look normal. i hope she is ok good look

Oh, this is normal. Oh, and if you think that's disgusting, you obviously don't know that guinea pigs eat their own p**p from time to time.

This just means that they have too much calcium in their diet. Take out the salt l**k, too. They don't need it.

Don't worry about it. It's no big deal. Her body is just adjusting to the calcium amount.

Frist off all, congrats on being so observant. So many people don't notice these things. That's the first step in having a healthy piggy.

Take out the salt l**k. They don't need it. Your pig could be getting too much calcium in her diet. I feed my pigs these basic 4 veggies that are high in vit. C with not as much. calcium:

cilantro

bell pepper (Red, green, or orange)

red leaf lettuce

romaine lettuce

Don't give too many fruits as they are high in sugar. You should also change her food. Anything you would describe as cereal like is not good. Try Oxbow Cavy Cuisine or Kleenmamas Pellets.
