  1. this sounds weird but ping pong balls. i have them for my hamster and its hilarious to watch her try and get her mouth around it and she rolls all over it trying to. of course a guinea pig is a bit bigger so maybe a bigger plastic ball or a solid one like a golf ball so that way he wont choke

  2. Sounds like you have a handle on the pig mazes. Here are some other ideas:

I'm sure you're doing the best you can with regard to playing with your piggie, but what about the other 22 hours in the day? He really *needs* the interaction from another piggie to be happy & stay healthy.

    Show your mom this:

    Best of luck!

  3. well mine likes to get into those huge cardboard tube things that they sell at the petstore. She gets in there and then she starts biting on it from the inside and the tube rolls over and i think she enjoys it because she can stay in that just chewing and rolling around for hours

  4. tell her its true that they get lonely without a companion and you'll help pay for half of it also that you think you benefit from it becausee your going have to take care of them and become more mature

as for toys take toilet paper rolls stuff them with carrots and stuff it with hay so they have to dig for them it should work and you could make some shallow stairs

  5. I have two guineas just for that reason. Tell your mother that if hes alone for more then a week and realises he dosent have a friend he'll die. Thats what i told my mom anyways lol.
