  1. Guinea pigs are not designed for these leashes. Because guinea pigs have very stiff-like spines, they can easily injure themselves (and quite severily) just by struggling to get out of one of these leashes. There is also always the chance that someone tugs a tad too hard on the leash, and literally crushes the pig just by doing that.

There are so many products sold at pet stores that are not appropriate or safe for animals, and leashes for small, fragile and fearful animals. The onyl way a g****a pig can safely be trusted on a leash is if it is extremely calm and predictable, which instinctfully, they are not.

I would give up on the leash before your piggy gets hurt. So it isn't that he doesn't want to wear it, it is that he should not.

You can take out the pig with out it wearing anything. In fact it is necessary for them to get to run around in a room, or pen.

  2. probably not guinea pigs are very stubborn animals. lol trust me i have 2. i mean when they want out they really want out. i think u should give it a rest and hopefully your pig will regain your trust.

  3. it'll freak him out and he'll hate you. just put him in a huge guinea ball if you want him out of the cage/.

  4. o dont do that poor little pig they have short little legs and dont like to be draged along the ground...they arent dogs. you can let your pig roam on a lawn if you keep a close watch, you can even get a cage for outside
