Guinea pig owners, please help!

Question

In Aussie dollars, how much does a packet of timothy hay cost? And how long does a packet last for one guinea pig? Please advice me the cost of the hay for feeding a baby guinea pig as well as a fully grown guinea pig per week. Also, how much does the vitamin C supplement cost and how much do they need per week?

ok im not sure about the cost of timothy hay but bedding hay will cost around $7-$10 per bail. It last my two pigs for 2 weeks and that's with having bedding changed twice weekly. When it comes to vitamin C you can get a 60ml which cost around $12 and it needs to be used on a daily basis. One company who makes the vitamin drops are aristopet. The drops are called "small animal vitamin drops" its a concentrated multivitamin and iron supplement specially formulated for rabbits guinea pigs and rats and mice.The other thing you can do is get vitamin and mineral treats.My two have a banana and grape shape vitamin and mineral blocks and they love chewing on them. Usually pet shops will stock them ( i got mine from pet stock)You can also feed oranges to you guinea pig to help with vitamin intake.

Vitam C should already be added to guinea pig food mixes at the store. Give as much as they will eat. Food lasts usually about a month or so.

In Canadian $, bedding cost $10-$15 and lasts 2-3 months.

that's for normal sized bags, huge bags cost and last more.
