  1. The mites should die within 2 weeks i'm guessing the injection he had was ivomec depending on the dose this can be strong so should work well. The general rule of thumb is that old skin sheds and new skin grows in it's place every month so wait at least 30 days until you see results. If there is nothing after this time return to your vet. If the flaky skin is a seperate issue then maybe a medicated wash would be the next step if the skin doesn't clear up after 1 month?

  2. It will Take about 28 day 32 at the most.Hope he/she heals!

  3. Yeh it shud heal up in about.... 30-38 days..If not then you should tell your vet he might be able to give you something else for it.

    Hope he/she heals...

  4. I would give it another week or two. My guinea pigs had the same problem. I got a new piggie and she had mites, so both my piggies had to get the shots for it. She had scabs behind her eaers, etc. and it took about a month for her to fully recover. Once they are recovered tho, you can't tell they ever had mites! Good Luck!
