  1. yes. it is perfectly fine to use regular flower. oat flour is almost the exact same thing, except it makes things harder, and less cake like, more dog biscut like

  2. I don't see the point in making 'guinea pig treats'. It's a lot of extra effort and does not provide a lot of good nutrients. And to be very honest, your guinea pigs will most likely not touch them. They'd much prefer a handful of fresh vegetables or a nibble of a fruit as a 'treat' any day!

  3. I'm with Eeny, don't waste your time on these.

The best treats for a guinea pig are fresh veggies or a small piece of fruit.  Or try 'Critter Berries' made by the Oxbow Hay company (they are online and also available at mnay pet stores).  My pigs LOVE them.

  4. Awesome! I was just about to ask that question but I'm finding myself answer it! So, I don't know about that flour thing but I know other treats!

    1. toilet paper core cut in half. take one half and put guinea pig food and grass and lettuce or carrots on the "U" part (the inside)

    2. dandelion greens (leaves)

  5. try using whole wheat flour i've made treats for my guinea pigs and rabbits with that i dont know about regular flour

  6. The only treats a guinea pig needs are fuits and veggies. The stuff they sell in stores is not needed and sometimes bad for them.

They should get mostly greens high in vit. C, but the occassional piece of fruit is ok too. One baby carrot every few days is good too.

  7. it's fine to use regular flour. people often feed their guinea pig bread, and bread contains flour. the only problem that arises from feeding them bread is that they may choke, which is why the bread has to be slightly stale before feeding them.

but it would be better if you could get oat flour instead.

  8. The recipes you find for guinea pig treats are not healthy. I've seen quite a few of them myself.  For a treat, try oxbow critterberries, a small piece of fruit, or a new veggie that they love. They will love it and it will be safe for them!

  9. i wouldnt bother with these, they are no good, for little treats, buy some guinea pig yogurt drops there only 18p from Asda and they love them

  10. no go buy the recipe and the regular flower can maybe hurt your guinea pig

  11. do fruits
