Guinea pig vibrating?

this is the first time hes done this he started vibrating right after his first swim.

i don't think that was a good idea - mine did it the other day and he was fine but he did it on his own but if you MADE you guinea-pig do it - you don't know how do look after a piggy

guinea-pigs ONLY swim if they want to - not because you want them to

well done - you have terrified your guinea-pig and maybe you will give the poor thing a heart attach -do your guinea-pig a favour and reed up on them

Most guinea pigs don't like water, my guinea pig is terrified even in a shallow basin of water when I bath him (he's long haired and gets bathed once every 3 months). So you're guinea pig is scared and very cold, even its warm water he will be cold. Its like when you come out of a hot shower you feel cold right? Well thats how your piggie feels. Wrap him up in a towel, and maybe get a hair dry and put it on the lowest heat and not too close to his skin and dry him off a bit. Don;t put him back into his cage until he is completely dry unless you wnat him to get a chill.

I would not recommend letting him swim again, in the wild guinea pigs generally don;t come into contact with much water, just because he can swim, doesn;t mean he enjoys it. :)

It probably wasnt a good idea to let him swim.  He has too much water in him now and hes trying to get it off and out of him.  Dry him well and cover his cage in a blanket the poor thing is freezing.  Keep him warm and dry and if he does not improve either leave him alone or you could call a vet or pet store but that could get expensive.  I called petco petstore when my rodent pets get sick and they give me free advice and tell me what to do.

He's shivering. Even if the water was warm, he is cold now. Dry him off and try to warm him up with dry towels.
