  1. As soon as there is blood shed please seperate them. Since one of them is new, this is normal. They are just trying to figure out who is the dominant one between them.

Make sure you have a big enough cage (minimum cage size requirements for 2 guinea pigs is 7.5 square feet)

  3. 放心吧,动物和人一样,也会日久生情的,我建议把二只猪放在一起养,时间久了便会玩到...

  4. Not a good idea.

  5. I've raised about 9 guinea pigs over the past 6 or 7 years, most of which were males, and not from the same litter. All except 2 got along with each other eventually. The trick is to make sure that your cage is PLENTY big for the both of them. I would recommend a 5 by 3 cage (I know, it sounds huge.) We built ours out of these black wire shelving things that snap together, you can look up websites that show you how to build them. This cage is new to us, we built it for the guinea pigs that didn't get along very well, and they were fine after they had the space. Make sure they each have their own shoe box to hang out in, and if they fight over food, give them separate food dishes. Depending on how long you have had them in their together, they may just be getting used to each other still from what it sounds like. Even if you hear them grinding their teeth at each other, it's just a warning, they're trying to be manly haha.

By the way, if they do start fighting, DO NOT stick your hand between them--I did this when I was younger and had to get stitches on my finger. I would grab them both and pull them apart, and hold them down til they calm down a bit. And take one out for a while.

  6. Are they both from the same litter?  If not they will fight.  If they are still fighting in a few days put them in different cages.
